November was another busy month in the events calendar. Below are a few of our highlights.

The Luxury Property Show:

We started the month at The Luxury Property Show and spent some time with April Russell at Carter Wells’ stand. Look out for our mini interview series in the New Year.

Drinks and Materials at Material Lab:

We joined our friends at Material Lab for their recently launched, semi-regular Drinks and Materials event. The cheese and wine was flowing with a number of suppliers being showcased, as well as a screen printing set up.

Stylish Interiors from Covet Lounge and Day True:

The Covet Lounge spoilt us with Portuguese delicacies, followed by a fantastic evening to celebrate the opening of the Day True showroom in Chelsea.

Retail Opening – Corey Homeware:

Corey Homeware is a delightful new retailer that has opened on the Roman Road in East London; we met a couple of months ago when he was looking to source brands from eporta following his new lease. We popped in to see Corey and fall in love all over again with the fabulous products he chose.

KLC Design Changes Lives:

KLC hosted a wonderful evening to launch their new foundation, Design Changes Lives. The foundation aims to emphasise the real value of good design by enhancing environments around healing and care and focussing on the impact of design on the quality of life, as well as encouraging and fostering new talent.

BIID is 50:

A celebratory black and white themed evening was held for the BIID congratulating them on their 50th Anniversary, with a fantastic speech given by Daniel Hopwood. The British Institute of Interior Design is the first, and only, organisation for Interior Designers which has been granted the prestigious accolade of Institute Status.

eporta at The Sleep Event:

We finished the month on a high following The Sleep Event. Our stand featured a number of our fantastic suppliers, which you can see here, and it was great to show our brands to many buyers in the hotel and contract market.

Highlights of The Sleep Event:

The Sleep Sets showcased some fantastic responses to the competition brief. There was the breathing bed set amongst the clouds from Areen Hospitality, as well as the calm biophilic designs from Oliver Heath, sponsored by Interface Hospitality. There could however only be one winner; Shaun Clarkson ID took away the prize with their luxurious response, featuring florals and golds, mixed with motifs and patterns around the set.
