eporta – the world’s fastest growing interiors marketplace – becomes one of only a handful of UK based companies to secure Series A investment from the US in the past 12 months.

Three years ago, we identified a problem that was preventing interior designers, property developers and architects from creating their very best work. There was simply no B2B platform that provided access to amazing global design, at the best trade prices, all in one place. So we built eporta.

Today, eporta is the fastest growing interior sourcing platform in the world. It’s designed exclusively for professionals, and is used by everyone from independent interior designers to huge architectural practices to hotels and commercial spaces. It is, quite simply, the easiest way to get the job done. Based on overwhelmingly positive feedback from more than 10,000 users in 85 countries, we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved so far.

In a huge vote of faith, all our existing investors participated in this funding round (Oxford Capital, Tails Capital, Samos Investments and LocalGlobe), joined by new San Francisco based fund, Canvas Ventures in their first ever investment outside the US. We’re particularly thrilled to welcome Paul Hsiao, a founding partner of Canvas Ventures and board member at Houzz, as an eporta Director.

As our existing community will know, the success of eporta so far can be directly attributed to our great people and culture. We’ve built a diverse, high-performing team, who also happen to be really good fun to work with and who don’t take themselves too seriously, which is essential when you’re a small, fast-moving and fast-growing business!

Over the next year, we’ll be working alongside our community to define new standards for transparency, efficiency and value within our industry, while providing a flexible service that meets the needs of each and every business. We plan to invest in growing the eporta community, discovering and sharing the work of innovative suppliers around the world, and leading the way in championing the power of great design. We hope you’ll join us!
